Rita Massi
Rita Massi Aglianò was born in 1948 in Rome, where she lives. She worked as a Social Worker in the T.S.M.R.E.E. Sector of ASL RMD. In 2010 she retired and began working with the editorial staff of Ombre e Luci, though she had already been part of the extended editorial team for several years. Her professional debut, in 1970, was at the Nido Verde rehabilitation center, for children with effects of poliomyelitis and infantile cerebral palsy. For some years she was part of socio-psycho-pedagogical teams at schools. In contact with the Faith and Light movement for many years, she is currently part of the San Gregorio Community in Rome. For approximately 18 years she was a member of the board of directors of the "Il Carro" Association, a group home in Rome that welcomes people with severe disabilities. She is still a member of the association. For about twenty years she was part of the Caritas group of the Parish of Santa Silvia (Rome) where she was responsible for the Listening Center and liaison for parish Caritas groups. She currently collaborates with the O&L Editorial staff in the extended editorial team.
