I want to tell you about what happened when my family went to India.
They had built a school named after Fr. Massimo, and we went to its opening ceremony.
A priest named Father Raja took us to a village, and the people there welcomed us with such warmth. Father Raja had just had a grandson, and my parents became the godparents to this little boy—they named him Massimo.

I sponsor three girls at a distance. All three have disabilities. Reka lives with other children who have special needs in a home run by the Sisters of Mother Teresa. Reka cannot speak or walk, but she is full of life and always smiling.
Aruna is a deaf girl who lives in a school for deaf children. Sunita also lives there, and she danced for us.
My dream is to open a home for disabled children in India someday—I would call it Emanuel House.
It was very hot in India.
When we came home, we found snow.
What struck me most were the smiling faces. I would go back in a heartbeat.
