My Second Mime at St. Peter's

It all started for me early in the morning. I dressed in black because Mara told me to, so that a long black dress she'd found for me at the Santa Silvia parish would stand out. I honestly didn't expect to drive there after work, work less, and have time after my shift to rehearse an important performance with the people from Fede e Luce. There was me, Daniele and Alessandra, then Angela, Mara Rita, Francesca, Cristina, Maurizio and Francesca. Then Margherita, Lorenzo and Marco and also Federico, Maria, Elisa and Roberta… in short, so many people who left an indelible mark for this occasion. Compared to the first time (my first mime at St. Peter's in 2016 ed. note), there's more prominence in how we perform, the setting is different, and I am determined in my mood, in the silence and in Alessandro's gaze when I have to open the tablets of the law. I don't know if everyone in the world will have seen me, but they need to understand the importance of Fede e Luce and of other communities of people who form an extended family…
