I went to dinner with all my classmates and five teachers. We went to a pizzeria in Trastevere. We met at Piazza Belli at eight and walked over—it's nearby. I got emotional before we even sat down. I only see my classmates during class. We haven't been able to have dinners together or go out for so long. Half the time I've only seen them on the computer screen, and when we're at school the class is split into two groups, A and B, so we can't all be together. When I saw everyone at the pizzeria on Piazza Belli—about twenty of us—I got emotional. Since they know I talk a lot, they started laughing when they saw me like that, and I was so happy. Almost everyone was there. Only a few were missing, and there was one person I really wanted to see who couldn't make it! I won't say his name. Well, everyone knows anyway because I can't keep quiet, so they were teasing me saying he wasn't coming. I knew he wasn't because I'd seen it on the class chat.
I'd even tried to add him to the list myself and sent him a voice message. But it didn't work out and I couldn't get him to come. He just couldn't make it. Ugh.
When we got to the pizzeria, five teachers were there. I was hoping it would be four. Elisabetta, Rosa, and Ornella were there and I was so happy! I get along great with them! They're really fun in class and even more so at the pizzeria! They don't seem like teachers. I like them because they actually listen to me and they care about me. Unfortunately there was also this other teacher—I don't even want to say her name—who gave me a 6 in gym! I refused to do gym. I refused all year long. I like rhythmic gymnastics and sports, but I don't want to do it at school. That's it. No point in her pushing. She gave me a 6. I'm furious. So I told that teacher—the one I won't name—that my mom changed the grade anyway and gave me a 7! So there!
At the table we laughed so much and had a really good time. It was nice weather. We were at two different tables. But when my appetizer arrived—nice bruschetta with tomato—the pizzas came to the other table! They must have ordered ahead! We were running late! Then I ate gnocchi with four cheeses. Delicious! Not many of us ordered pasta; almost everyone got pizza. I was the only one who drank plain water—everyone else had beer or Coke. We joked around the whole time. I mean, we joke around at school too and we have fun, but it's so much better at the pizzeria. We even joked about everyone's report cards. I got six 10s, two 9s, and two 8s. Excellent in religion. And then a 6 in gym. Whatever!
