A practical guide to dip into slowly—exactly as its authors intended. They are not education professionals, but rather a pediatrician and a homeopath devoted to family advocacy and the cause of life. What they offer here is an invitation to parents to reflect on behaviors they enact with their children—behaviors often not recognized as educational mistakes. I dare any parent to read this book without seeing themselves reflected in at least some of the scenarios described. You may find yourself disagreeing with the authors' suggestions. But I think what matters most is this: don't let your past mistakes discourage you, and don't hide behind false certainty. Instead, learn to ask yourself the right questions. Ask them as you navigate the countless choices you face each day with your children—grounded in awareness of your role and your responsibility as the adult they depend on.
