I have so much to do now that I'm back from the beach. Even though I wish I could go back to the beach and that it was still July and August. I'm in my final year at hospitality school, and I have my graduation exams. Everyone keeps telling me about them, and it makes me nervous. My parents said the same thing to someone else—we already know about the exams, there's no need to keep mentioning it. Almost all my teachers are new, but I expected that because they change all the time. My support teacher left too, and I'm glad about that. But I knew it was coming because she told me back in June. There are two support teachers now. The first day I didn't feel like doing anything, and I didn't even go into the classroom. I stayed in the hallway for three hours. I got a real scolding at home for that. The second day I went in, and I got along wonderfully with all the new teachers. Really well. My favorite is still Professor Bungaro—he's so nice. I already knew him, and we've joked around every year. I know that when the teachers had their meeting with my parents (it's called a GLH meeting), Bungaro said he wants me in his class. But I know everyone spoke well of me and said that I work hard and that they're happy with me. My economics teacher has already given me two tens because she said I work so much and stay focused. She's right. Now I'm starting an internship at the American Palace Hotel at EUR. I've been there a few months ago. I'll work the front desk for a month. I'm so happy about it. The only thing I'm sorry about is that I won't see my classmates for a month—they're all really nice. In the mornings I'll go to the American Palace Hotel, which is right across from the Laurentina metro stop, and in the afternoons I have so many things to do. I go to dance class in Monteverde, play soccer with AS Roma, sing in the White Hands choir at the Testaccio School of Popular Music, go to the AIPD* club, spend time around Rome, and also go to dance school on Via Portuense. I also go around with Arianna to do shopping and groceries, and when I can, I go bowling (and to the movies) at Parco Leonardo. I'm also buying tickets to go to the Olimpico to watch Roma play and to go to the theater (I've already been so many times in September and October).
