Most High, Almighty, Good Lord, to you belong praise, glory, honor, and every blessing.

To you alone, Most High, do these rightfully belong, and no human is worthy to speak your name.

Praised be you, my Lord, together with all your creatures, especially Brother Sun, who gives us the light of day. He is beautiful and radiant with great splendor, and bears your likeness, Most High.

Praised be you, my Lord, for Sister Moon and the stars. In the heavens you have made them bright, precious, and fair.

Praised be you, my Lord, for Brother Wind, and for the air and sky, clouded and clear, and all seasons that sustain your creatures.

Praised be you, my Lord, for Sister Water, so useful, humble, precious, and pure.

Praised be you, my Lord, for Brother Fire, through whom you illuminate the night. He is beautiful, joyful, robust, and strong.

Praised be you, my Lord, for our Sister Mother Earth, who sustains and governs us. She brings forth diverse fruits, with colorful flowers and grass.

Praised be you, my Lord, for those who forgive for love of you and endure sickness and pain.

Blessed are those who bear these trials in peace, for they shall be crowned by you, Most High.

Praised be you, my Lord, for our Sister Bodily Death, from whom no living person can escape. Woe to those who die in mortal sin.

Blessed are those who find death while doing your will. For them, spiritual death shall bring no harm.

Praise and bless my Lord. Give him thanks and serve him in all humility.
