Shops and Pants

I love going into all the shops with my friend Lorenza when we take walks down viale Marconi. I love it because you run into so many people and you get to chat. But I don't want to go to the shopping mall because it's closed in, there's so much noise, and you can't understand a thing. Viale Marconi is better. Much better. Except at Christmas because you can't walk and everyone's pushing into you. Mamma gives me money. I have my wallet. I go into the shop and buy a T-shirt I like. Lorenza tells me I could buy a hoodie or pants. Or shoes too. But I like to buy just the T-shirt. When I get home Mamma always says: why do you only buy T-shirts when you have a thousand? I know I have a lot of T-shirts but buying a T-shirt is easier. You go into the shop, say hello to the shop lady, and point at the T-shirt. She lets you try it on and you pay. Done! I don't want to change my shoes. I'm fine with the ones I have for sports. The hard ones hurt my feet. And I take them off. I have to wear them at school, even with a heel, when I do reception duty. I only put them on because I like doing reception. But as soon as I'm done I take them off. I keep my gym shoes in a bag in my backpack. And boom, smart move, I change them right away! The hard ones make me slip. That's why I don't buy them. Everyone tells me I should wear a skirt. But a skirt is so uncomfortable too. It bothers me when I walk. I want pants. I only wear the skirt for reception. That's it. Sometimes Mamma insists on making me wear a dress with a skirt. Sometimes I say yes. Just sometimes. But anyway, I bought the birthday present for my cousin Luca myself. Lorenza told me I shouldn't buy a T-shirt. I bought a Juve backpack. But I'm Roma.
