Questions from a Champion

On sports and friends who get married. (Why?)
Questions from a Champion

I won the gold medal in artistic gymnastics. Gold medal means I won. They did the awards ceremony because there were judges giving scores. The applause went on forever. I was so happy. We held the competition in Santa Marinella, which is a bit far from Rome but on the way when we go to the beach. But I'm especially good at rhythmic gymnastics. A champion, I'd say.

I train twice a week. Monday is after my group dance class. Then Friday. I go at half past six. Until almost eight. I have to say I have so much fun. First I warm up—running and then exercises. Then we do all the gymnastics things, including the beam. I like going to the gym because the coaches are good and friendly. The male coach is very good too. They give me advice, help me, and tell me how I can do the exercise better. They never yell. They're always kind. We always do everything calmly, without rushing. In rhythmic gymnastics it's all girls. I like being there. The gym is in Monteverde and it's part of the Kennedy school. I have to say the gym is close to my house—ten minutes by car. I really like that because I get there quickly and I'm home fast for dinner.
Right now I'm doing so many wonderful things. I'm still working at the Merè venue and I'm playing violin better. I have so much going on. Unfortunately there's a problem we can't solve. Giacomo is getting married and I really don't want him to. I don't know what to do. I'm completely against it. Last year my sister got married and I was so, so happy because it was right. But I have a simple question: why did they have to get married? It's not good at all. I'll go, but how can I be happy about them getting married? I'm asking.
