Not a Chance

I get mad because Roma always scores at the very end. I have to sit through the whole match with nothing happening and then at the end when I say I'm frustrated and I won't leave the Olimpico until Roma scores, that's when Roma finally scores. Against Salernitana they scored two, one right after the other with just minutes left. Same thing like when we played Vitesse — everyone told me I have to come back to the stadium because I bring good luck when I say I won't leave until Roma scores.

I have so much fun at the stadium because there are so many people. I arrive early or there's no parking for the car afterward. I have to show my documents and green pass a bunch of times. Then I sit down and get myself a nice gelato — a chocolate Algida cornetto with whipped cream. I also get a big cup of water. I go to the bathroom before the match starts too. I love when there are chants. The Salernitana fans were singing the whole time because they were winning. Then when Roma scored those two goals at the end, they looked upset but they kept singing anyway.

I like songs that make you feel something. Especially the Roma anthem when the match is about to start. And then at the end, "Grazie Roma." It's really beautiful because everyone waves their flags or holds up their Roma scarves. I have a Roma scarf too. And then I take photos and videos to show everyone. There were two of my classmates at the stadium but they were way over in another section, really far away, so we didn't see each other. But we texted on WhatsApp.

I play for AS Roma too. My position? Wherever there's shade, especially when it's hot, because then I don't sweat and I don't get tired. The coaches yell at me that I need to get back on defense but I'm not doing that because I'll get exhausted. If I go back, I walk really slowly. Playing soccer is fun and cool. But I like rhythmic gymnastics even more — I go twice a week and my teacher, Camilla, is really good and nice. She teaches me a lot of things. Even how to catch the ball with my feet on the fly. I'm learning a really cool choreography.
