A new family arrives at our door.
They want to know us, to step out of isolation.
How do we welcome them with sensitivity when they need our help?

Go to meet them without forcing ourselves upon them.

Make ourselves available to welcome them and show them our friendship.
It is not always helpful to describe our daily lives, our "little houses," often loud and with long waiting times. Let us try to make them feel that we are ready to listen. Every story of lived experience has much to teach us, and surely someone among us is ready to find common ground and offer suggestions that might loosen rigid situations and help these newcomers break free from their protective shell.

Words are often not enough. Only by sharing special moments can we understand the true meaning of F.L.
It will not always be so easy and natural. We must also be ready to accept others' resistance and to admit our own limits and failures, without losing our appetite for new encounters.
