Giorgio Fontani is a father in Fede e Luce. He wrote this song, titled "Tell Me, Dad," in the 1980s. Years later it was shared at Fede e Luce under the name "My Little One." Today it is sung in communities throughout Italy. Through the words of this song he left us, Giorgio remains forever in our hearts, and we thank him for giving us the gift of his most intimate and unconditional love for life. Thank you, Dad Giorgia Fontani, 2005

Tell me what the clouds do
and why they don't fall from the sky
are they made of colors
stuck to a balloon
and at night do they go walking three by three?

Tell me where the words go
when they flee light from our lips
do they all go toward the sun
then sink into the blue
and fall into the sea upside down?

Tell me, Dad—behind the sky that's there
are there other worlds with children?
What are they like, are they green or blue
or are they made like me?

My little one, the universe belongs to God
there are so many worlds like flowers
maybe the children are green or blue
but inside they're made like you,

and what life is and what love is
this child of mine, you will discover for yourself.

Tell me where the wind goes
when it blows through people's hair
it's the breath of a giant
twice as tall as Dad
and where it came from, no one knows.
