My name is Mirella and at Faith and Light I have so much fun with all my friends who care about me, being together with everyone. We play beautiful games, we sing and dance, and we talk together too. I feel really good there. Faith and Light is very important because there are parents with teenagers who have problems and disabilities. My dad came to Faith and Light all the time because he found so many friends there. I want to thank all the friends who were there for me when my dad died. At camp this year I felt wonderful and it was the most beautiful days of my life—too bad they went by so fast.

My mom felt good at Faith and Light because you have more fun there than what she went through... there are people who help us, who follow us... What we went through you live better... Patrizia, what is Faith and Light for you? An association of parents and children that organizes celebrations, dinners, little dinners, dinners out, outdoor games. It fills me with imagination to be together every Saturday afternoon: I find so many friends. I love the hospitality, the welcome, the warmth, eating together, going out together. What are the camps like? At camp I felt good, I ate, I had fun. At nine o'clock there was a vigil, singing by the fire. I'd like to go again. I love Mass, it calms me, because sometimes I get anxious, I feel bad. Faith and Light is a community. Does Jesus come into it? The spirit comes into it, communion... Jesus is part of the community. What is welcome? When you're welcomed, little by little they understand me. They've known me for so many years and they know how I am.
