Dear Friends
Thank you so much for sending me all the issues of "Insieme." I found the latest one deeply moving. Two things filled my heart with joy: first, the map of Italy showing all the existing and emerging "Faith and Light" groups. Second, the remarkable number of people signing articles—so many unfamiliar names! These two signs tell me that the Faith and Light family is growing, a harvest of hopes planted in our hearts.
When I left Rome and the groups that existed then, I had to leave Pau and the group that had been born two years before. Many people expressed their sadness to me, but fortunately there was Didier's reflection—a young man we call "maladjusted"—who said: "Don't worry, Michel, we'll manage."
As I hope to work toward starting a group in Bayonne, I assure you all of my friendship.
Michel

How I Miss Them

I went to visit them for a day and was struck by the enthusiasm, the generosity, the joy of all those young people. There were roughly 35 of us—people with intellectual disabilities, the blind, and those without disabilities—living in very poor and very simple conditions. Yet I found such affection, such joy, such prayer, such deep faith…
