When someone calls me on the phone, I never say no—it matters to me. Going to an appointment, I sometimes arrive early because I want to be on time and I don't make whoever picks me up wait. When I know there's something special coming up, I only see the people I know at that moment. During the week I work, and only in the evening do I have time to relax. If my supervisor or Daniela call me, I go—I never miss a meeting. When I saw President Mattarella, it was something beautiful for me. I only see him on television. I don't see politicians because there are different parties, and I don't go to vote—not because I don't care, but because they never helped me! I go to Fede e Luce even when there's silence. I care about them. In the past I was a quiet boy and I was afraid of everything around me and I didn't know what to say. Even now I'm close to the people who love me. I don't easily forget people. I remember everyone, even from other groups and from the garden, and when I can't find anyone or I miss my train, I have to go back home.
