I went to the Roma-Vitesse match at the Olimpico stadium. I had so much fun. I cheered with my Roma scarf and kept shouting "Go Roma." I loved it when everyone was singing. Then the other team scored. I didn't like that at all. I mean it. Roma never scored. When it was almost the end they told me we should leave so we wouldn't get stuck in the crowd. But I didn't want to leave. I said I was staying in the stadium until Roma scored. So I started yelling: "I'm not leaving until Roma scores!" Roma scored while I was yelling. Then everyone said to me "Benede', you could have said that sooner!" And then they were telling me "Come back for the derby against Lazio!" I was singing and cheering.
I love the stadium so much. Because there's so much going on, people are celebrating, and there are tons of people everywhere. I love stadiums. It's like going to a concert. I don't want to stay home, but when I go out, I'm happy. That's why I like the hotel stay better than going to school. The hotel has people, lots of people. Not like the stadium. But there are many of them, and there are always new ones coming. Then I also went to the Fiamme Gialle at Castelporziano with Athletica Vaticana. We ran and did long jump. And then a nice meal all together. There were rigatoni all'amatriciana, chicken with potatoes and vegetables, and then tiramisu. Not bad at all! You know? There were lots of people and I was cheering when the others were running too.
Right now I keep playing soccer with my AS Roma team, doing rhythmic gymnastics in the gym, and I sing with the Mani Bianche choir in Testaccio. And at school. Then I go out with my friends. In the evening we eat pizza and now we're going to see a play—"Add a Place at the Table." I know it well, I've seen it before and I know the whole song by heart, and it's beautiful: "Add a place at the table because there's one more friend / if you move the chair over a bit, you'll be comfortable too. Friends are good for keeping you company, smile at the new guest don't send them away, share the bread and double the joy." I love singing "bread" because I make this sign with my hands like I'm cutting it. And yelling "joy!" at the end too.
