Giuseppe Conte called me on the phone. He had his jacket and tie and his hair just the way it looks on television. He said these exact words to me: "Dear Benedetta, how are you? Everything good? I wanted to tell you that I'm opening the schools back up right away. They've been closed way too long but that's enough now. You can go back to school super soon and all the teachers are there and all your classmates."
Giuseppe Conte said those precise words to me. I told everyone right away. What was I supposed to do? That's what he said. So we have to go back to school right now. I'm so happy. That way I can even get breakfast at the bar before class. I'm super duper happy to see my classmates again even though I've been talking to them on video calls the whole time and I saw them on the computer during the video lessons. I'm happy to see the teachers too. I work better in class. But I worked a lot a lot at home.
Then Giuseppe Conte also told me I can leave the house. I think he got tired of being home too. I got super tired of it. When I go out I don't have to wear a mask. Nobody else has to wear a mask either. Giuseppe Conte said these precise words to me: "Dear Benedetta, you can go to the gym with Camilla to do rhythmic gymnastics on Wednesday and Friday. And you can go to practice with AS Roma on Thursday and Saturday." Giuseppe Conte also told me that on Monday I can go out again with my friends from the Club. And I can go to rehearsals and concerts with my White Hands Choir in Testaccio.
I asked him: "Dear Giuseppe Conte, can I go visit my grandmother and my aunts and my cousins?" He told me: "Of course, Benedetta, naturally! Why wouldn't you!"
Since Giuseppe Conte said exactly what I want, I invited him to come visit me at the beach in Castiglion della Pescaia. I'll let him use my beach umbrella because I never stay under the umbrella anyway because I get bored. I go to other people's umbrellas so I can chat. But we can swim together. Then I'll take him to get pizza. But after dinner he has to go straight home because I'm going out and I have things to do with my friends.
