Special: Cinema and Disability

On these pages we have often recounted how cinema addresses the theme of disability. With this special feature we try to take stock, also with the contribution of experts in the field. Thinking that someone could be «different» because of a flaw — big or small — is no different from judging someone by the colour of their skin or their beliefs. This too is discrimination.
