Assisi sits in Umbria, perched on a hilltop (424 meters), and it can still be cold. Pack a heavy sweater and a raincoat.

Please write your name clearly (full name, your home Fede e Luce group, and "Cittadella") on your suitcase, bag, wheelchair, and anything else that might get lost or mixed up.

If you need special items—waterproof sheets, diapers for children, bottles, or anything hard to find in Assisi, whether for food or clothing—bring them with you. Don't forget your medications either.

About changing foreign currency: the banks close Friday afternoon.

When you arrive at the bus parking area, a welcome team from Rome will greet you and direct each person to their hotel and room number. Please don't get off the bus until everyone has received an envelope with all the information and a badge.

Throughout the pilgrimage, the "Cittadella" will serve as our hub—it's where most of us are staying.

The Cittadella is there to:

  • give you all the information you might need
  • help solve any problems that come up
  • get you quickly in touch with someone from the pilgrimage
  • take phone messages for you

If someone wants to call you in Assisi, give them these numbers: 075 / 8###### 8###### 8#######.

You can leave a message at these numbers for anyone in the Fede e Luce group, and they'll be notified to call you back.
