Silvia Camisasca
Physicist and Journalist. She earned a master's degree in Archaeometry at the Louvre Museum in Paris, where she worked on physical techniques for conservation and restoration applied to cultural and environmental heritage. She drafted the Environmental Yearbook of the Ministry of Environment and Territory, highlighting the need for remediation of certain sites (including Taranto, Crotone and Porto Marghera), especially in relation to the impact on public health. In 2010 she received an award from the President of the Republic for a collection of scientific stories for children: "The Periodic Table Planet". In May 2021 the European Commission awarded her for her journalistic commitment in the Environment, Sustainability, and Human Rights section. She teaches Italian to unaccompanied migrant children.
