Serena Sillitto
Half Sicilian, one quarter Calabrese and one quarter Istrian, Serena Sillitto lived for 15 years in Enna and 10 in Reggio Calabria before moving permanently to Rome where she has lived since 2002, after earning a degree in classical literature from the University of Messina and a specialization diploma in archival science, paleography and diplomatics from the Vatican School. Since 2005 Serena has been a Parliamentary Secretary at the Senate of the Italian Republic: after working in the Legislative Archives, she currently works in the Press Office, overseeing both print media and the website and social media accounts of Palazzo Madama. Since 1995 she has been a care volunteer for Unitalsi; for ten years she has been a friend of Faith and Light, of which she is Vice Provincial Coordinator of Kimata for Centro2.
