Alessandra Moraca

Calabrese by birth and Roman by adoption, Alessandra Moraca works as a literature teacher in a public school in the capital, an activity she carries out with "taste and insatiable curiosity for the world of young people". She has gained experience related to disability and inclusion issues over years of on-the-field training. She considers herself fortunate to have found a place in the large family of Faith and Light: an overwhelming encounter that changed her perspective and approach to disability: "it is in community life and in sharing pieces of the journey – she says – the key to authentic and effective integration. Barriers are broken down through relationship". She has been a freelance journalist since 2006.
