94, 9, 35, 18: What the Numbers Mean

I did a lot of things, and other things happened that I didn't do. My grandmother turned 94 on June 28th. I helped her blow out the candles—there were two of them. One was a 9 and one was a 4. She couldn't manage it by herself. The cake was delicious. Actually, there were two cakes. But a few days later, Grandma had to go to the hospital because she wasn't feeling well. She hasn't been well for a long time. I hope she comes home soon. I pray every day and call her on WhatsApp video.

My school report card was good. But 9 of my classmates had to repeat the year. I got a 9 in hospitality, tourism hospitality, and behavior. An 8 in English, French, math, art and local studies, civics, and food science. A 7 in Italian. A 6 in history and gym. Excellent in religion. We also made pizza as a class. The teachers weren't there. I was really happy.

In June, all my activities ended. Music, soccer, rhythmic gymnastics—where I also performed and had a wonderful time. I did a routine with a ball and it never fell, just rolled away once but I caught it right back. I also went to my friend's wedding in Castiglione della Pescaia. It was incredibly hot, but everything was beautiful and I had so much fun. Especially in the evening when it cooled down. They had a buffet dinner on a terrace above a hotel. There was music and dancing, and I danced so much, past midnight. There were 30 guests. Maybe 35. Everyone was really nice. The week before, I went to my friend Sara's 18th birthday party in Tuscany. I love parties.

Now I'm at the beach. It's scorching hot. But I feel great. I go out every evening and come back really late. I like walking around, laughing, joking. That's what the beach is about. I like swimming and being on the sand, but I like it even more to go out in the evening and sit at a café table talking with people.
